In answer to some of the questions asked: ..... I do not know what "breed" they are. I am no expert and my dads failing health does not allow me to get any definitive answers. There is at least 2 pure white ones and what I would describe as pied or piebald if that makes any sense. I do not understand the term "Strains" as per one questioner. Please reiterate and I will see what I can find out.I am Quite happy to photo the birds . please foreward me an email address to send the pictures. Hi to all on this notice forum. I am posting this on behalf of my dad. He has 8 homing pigeons (various colours, some totally white).He used to race pigeons many years back, however these birds were kept as a hobby by him. He is very frail now and is now suffering with dementia. I am looking for a good home for these birds, as he is not in any position to care for them any more. Is there any one out there who would like to take these birds away (free of charge)?.They are in Sussex UK(appox 4 miles from Brighton). The birds would need to be collected by Wednesday 14th Feb at the latest as there will be refurbishment to the property starting after that date as my father is going into care. All the best. Meramaz
