2014 home bred hen, she disappointed from the channel last year turning up 2 days late with half a tail. All going well She will get the chance to rectify it this year.

It was talked about on here for weeks Jim.

The Arras race point was deemed unsafe for the birds and convoyers as other transporters had been robbed a few weeks before we were due to go Jim, that's how it was changed. That was the SNFC Mambo not Lan Fed 😉

IT IS UNBELEVEABLE THE NUMBER OF MEN WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE RULES CONCERNING AGM DECISIONS AND WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO ALTER IT....IT'S NO A DECISION FOR DELEGATES TAE OVERTURN AND IT'S NO A DECISION FOR A COMMITTEE TO PERSUE TO CHANGE....I GUARANTEE IF ANY ATTEMPTS ARE MADE TO CHANGE IT OTHER THAN WHAT IS PROCEDURALLY CORRECT IT WILL GO TO THE SHU.

From a seller point of view, if it cost less than the £30 gold membership it would attract ppl but if ye were selling say, 12 doos at £50 a head and the site got 10% of the money that's double the Gold membership fee. My apologies if I am misinterpreting the gist of the function.

Every thing ye say is right Davie and numbers wise it makes life easier tae duplicate, for me as much as for anyone else, but the vote was taken and carried and no matter personal benefit the vote Must stand. The costs tae the Fed are not an issue, we are well enough funded in the first 7 races tae carry us the rest of the way without making a Loss....no sure the birdage for the first 7 will carry us through this year though !!!

I remember a very similar response tae wan of oor meetings not so long ago, it raged on here for ages, just highlights the strongly held Opinions of some wanting different race routes from others, problem only arises when some people seek tae change results of a bonafide AGM Decision. Ave never in my life saught tae alter the outcome of a vote or go start another club/organisation up because it didnae suit me, a go way the majority vote at all times and (foolishly maybe) I expect the same from everyone else. Just as I will do and expect on this occasion.

Cheat in other words ??? The rules are there tae stop cheats no encourage them. And this is Not a special case, it's incompetency plain and simple.

Common sense does not win over democracy Davie, if it did they would throw the whole program oot and go East :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Let's be clear here...the officials posted out to every member an agenda for the meeting. Those in attendance vote for Themselves not their club. Every member has the choice tae come or not and vote or not on the business in the published agenda. So those who attend decide whit happens and that's the way it's always been. The SNFC Race dates have been available to all interested for weeks anaw, so if members at that meeting yesterday couldnae work that oot or wee too lazy tae even check then on their heads be it. Ignorance of the law does not exempt you from prosecution, so the ignorant have made a bed we All have tae lay in and that was the Legal and biding outcome of the votes taken. Any idea that the dates will be changed because so and so didnae know whit they were voting for will end up in front of the SHU.

The problem arose because they voted the Airdrie proposal in en bloc, including the dates of the races. Imo the proposal should have been withdrawn or as Jim Hannah pointed out a rider could have been attached to the proposal that woulda tied in with the SNFC races. But neither was done so we had to go as the proposal was presented. Defo an error by the proposer and supporters on this occasion.
