I can sympathise with you mate, I'm just starting up this year & have had a cat problem for the last 2 weeks. It's taken 2 of my flying out stock birds & today snatched a youngster out of the air as it took off from the lawn. Really is a kick in the teeth as I'm only just trying to form my first team of youngsters to race this year. So many roof tops & overgrown gardens about here I don't have a clue where it comes from. What are the legalities regarding the actions I can take?. I know what I'd like to do to it, but my garden is overlooked by too many neighbours. A mate of mine told me that as a cat is not classed as a domestic animal there is no law preventing you from trapping one as long as you release it again (doesn't say where). Does anyone know if this is right?. I'd be interested in your comments, thanks Ian

Hi fellow pigeon people, (politically correct I hope), My name is Ian but I'm known as Dunky to my friends. New to the sport & new to the forum, so I hope you will pardon my ignorance if I start posting things in the wrong place, or asking what seem to be daft questions. Just joined my local club here in, not so sunny Norwich, with a view to racing young birds later this year. Been reading everything I can get my hands on regarding this fascinating sport. So much to learn, & only one lifetime to do it. Membership to forum validated yesterday & spent four hours last night just reading & learning from some of the threads on the forum. Rambling on a bit so better get this in the post box. Must get to bed before three tonight.
