    Peanuts

peanuts, very good for them, some eat them some dont, dusnt matter how many you give them, but keep them fresh.
  2. first of all i would epson salts them,1 table spoon to 3 pints of wateroh add a tea spoon full of bicarbonated soda in aswell,i bet they will be bouncing the next day,if not cut your corn down or change it to a lighter mix.hope this helps ( dont pull out the antibiotics yet ) if you havnt already done so.
  3. never had young bird sickness and thats because the way i feed my youngsters, but i have and do use coli killer and was amazed on how they look and acted, there dropping are even better than they was before and my birds droppings are always good, ill carry on using it anyway,i also use it on my widowers and stock birds, youngsters in the nest are great and allert.
  4. hi i fly 7 widowhood cocks,1st race i was 3rd club ,1st 2/bird club 10th fed,1st houghton 2/bird club. 2nd race i was 4th club 3rd 2/bird club 2nd houghton 2/bird club 9th fed, week after won kingsley mid week club.this was won with 7 cocks and still going strong against member who send 30 plus birds per week, its hard to keep it up with such a small team has the odds are always against you butits possible to beat the big senders. les
  5. the best will settle and the ones that wont forget about, done this loads of times and you will find out that only your best birds will settle without much hassle and will still carry on winning. les
  6. saturdays weather in pontefract was a little crap at 11.15,went to vaccinate some youngsters for a friend,11,30 it was pissing it down and black with heavy cloud,by 12ish rain had stopped but still cloudy with rain in ereas so from wake they would hav come straight over us so they have done well to fly through it,sunday was a nice day down here so should have had a good start at liberation, blue skies.hope this helps. les if anyone needs to know what the weathers like in pontefract on a saturday they can always send me a pm and ill get back to them asap.
  7. gettin up earlier dusnt make you win races, good pigeons doo les
  8. what a load of ribbish some of you have answered,if you buy pigeons from a so called stud.you should get the pedigrees with them, foxwood stud has done this before,a friend of mine spent a few thousand pounds with them,no pedigrees just youngsters with canker,oh he promised to replace them but never did,if daz from foxwood lofts aint happy about the truth then he can always get in touch.dont be fooled into buying there birds if you want pedigrees, there might be good birds but ? les
  9. not sure, has the ones ive seen are nl rung but nice pigeons, but thanxs for the link. les oh,alwyn paddy has them aswell
  10. does anyone know about these pigeons,i know theres grizzles in the family, are they sprint pigeons or distance, any info appreciated please. les
  11. bicarbonated soda is really top stuff, what it really does is when used on widowhood coks on a sunday, all day it will take all the muscle toxins out of its system and will have your cocks racing the sky again by monday-tuesday and get you ahead of everyone else,if used every week you will see a dramatic difference in your old birds.oh 2 teaspoons to 5 pints of warm water leave till teatime then put an iron tonic in till monday morning.look for the down feathers in there boxes, good luck. les
  12. good qaulity aswell, seen them at crowthers.

  14. i only have an 18ft loft for my racers, old and young,i have decent pigeons and sometimes i can see form drop from my pigeons depending what the weather is that day and i know it will stop you from winning, end of the year i will be changing my loft adding double walls and adding a false floor in the loft and installing the atx humidity heating panels has i think its too late to start messing about now. les
