    Amazing

Saw one doing this on the m5 southwest bound a month ago but going against the traffic about 12ft up dodging the lorries!
  2. On bbc spotlight news and on their website, 40 dead pigeons have been found on the A35 near Honiton area, birds were carried in a sack and placed dead along the road at 200m intervals. Police are asking local pigeon fanciers to count and check their birds. I don't know if they are racers, fancy or wild, but why the expletive removed* would you place them at 200m intervals along a road unless its malicious, cant get my head around some people
  3. The BBC aren't putting any times or names up on the early lib page now, just putting up 16 pigeons from 6 sections. No doubt a because of this
  4. There was a vid on youtube by Chris Sutton on Eamon winning Tarbes 2015, it has been taken off late last night. He actually said he had worked out he needed to be in before a certain time to beat a pigeon he knew was in, got a bit twitchy with all the questions too.
  5. Surely greenlands is closer with 1345! Lol, good velocity though
  6. The guy I am helping out has always raced natural, but next year I think he's changing to roundabout, trying to get hens to lay on time, then loosing so many training due to pere, means your forever playing catch up. The worst of all in my eyes is trying to get naturals fit for racing, training means more losses, round the loft they fly but just want to nest build or clap around, great to watch, again your on a loosing battle

    Feeding Time

This is exactly why I haven't started by myself, I've been helping a guy out who used to fly a good pigeon, won a national to boot, but we have been hit every single toss bar 1, for a whole year from as little as 4 miles too 40 miles. The birds have never made a 10 mile toss faster than 3 hours, mostly taking all day or even turning up next day. Its crazy down here now and fewer and fewer people racing because of it. Why would you start down here, how could you afford it is beyond me. I would love to have my own pigeons, but its already putting me off
  8. There is 1 in, East section, Mr R Dove, day 3. Congrats to that pigeon a brave soul, but lately all the races are more homing than races to me. I ain't surprised, yesterday down here was blowing west/north west 20mph bright sun, with heavy down pours thrown in. I doubt if anyone down here will see a feather again in the southwest
  9. Condolences to your whole family

Well, just like the SNFC, it looks like the cscfc have had a mare of a race too, only 67 timed fromm 599, only one pigeon made it home within 50 miles of us. Well done to all the pigeons that got home this weekend

Hope he gets them home, 5 timed so far, all in one area, if my mates has crossed over at the same area they got another 4hours on the wing if not more.
