    Bop

Its most likely a hen sparrowhawk it most likely does the rounds everyday looking for a chance if it kills one leave it where it is and wait they usualy come back you might have to tell it off
  3. Worm isolate and give them budgie seed or canary seed its like rocket fuel builds them up
  4. Sounds more like young bird sickness to me
  5. Reccessive whites have bull or black eyes if the eyes are normal coloured then the bird is a grizzle basically pairing grizzle birds together gives you white birds that youve bred the pattern off in laymans terms but im sure Robert bennion will explain this in technical terms for you
  6. Lee hammond had some for sale on facebook site a while ago john
  7. Its the father that breeds silvers its a sex linked dilute of blue so the father is split for silver . Yellow and dun the dilute of black work in the same way to breed a dilute cock use a split cock on a dilute hen example the father back to the dilute daughter they are all naked when hatched ie dont have down barless mealies are usually not barless mealies but lavender to breed these use a mealy to a black the youngsters are the oppossite way round to the parents ie mealy cock and black hen breeds black cocks and mealy or (barless ) hens criss cross mating
  8. Theres a site on net i think its spanglefish dot com or similar
  9. Its a kelebek takla dont have extra tail feathers and clap tumble go up kelebeks tumble dive in spirals and barrel roll whilst flying also kelebeks very responsive to birds on loft roof or floor dive down to them
  10. Fenn trap covered up so pigeons cant get in it you can get them from most gun shops about 10 or 12 quid you need the smaller size i have them set in tunnels round my loft all the time and catch an occasional rat etc or look at trapman on net mink trap
  11. Thanks very much i tried that and didnt come up with much thanks again
  12. Can anyone tell me the dosage rate for pigeons ? I had it wrote down but l misplaced it ive had a recurring problem with ecoli and had some on prescription but misplaced the amount thanks
  13. Vinegar in water malt or apple cider
  14. I keep rollers mine dont go on the roof at all ! Their trained to drop on the loft roof using a white fantail or dropper birds that insist on going on the roof end up in the ferret cage the first thing you have to learn with rollers is how to control them ie the food tin a healthy flying bird should get no more than a heaped tablespoon of food a day if you dont fly them for any reason the food has to reduced accordingly if they fly round then drop after 1 lap and you feed them you are training them to do exactly that always wait after trapping for half an hour at least are the birds you have flying type or show birds if the latter youre wasting your time are you in any club ? Do you not know any roller flyers ? If you send me your number private message i will try to help you pete
  15. Yes as i said i have the flying type they still go up like tipplers did u ever contact my friend about the tipplers ?
