Hi guys, does anyone have, or know where I could get my hands on a couple of pairs of white King pigeons please? I would be willing to collect individual birds from different locations if only singles are available. Any help much appreciated, thanks guys Lee

I always give the birds every supplement separate that way they only take what they need and when. The red pick pots are a staple part of their requirements all year around. I believe the red stone has medicinal properties, similar to nature programmes when you see parrots eating clay etc. 2014 season I had my young birds back from a race and a silver hen dropped in, went straight to the red pick stone, not the drinker or feeder. She filled up on it. She was the only bird that DIDN'T come down with young bird sickness that year. Now that might be a coincidence, but that hen knew she needed red stone, over and above a drink. It just confirmed to me that they know what they need more than I can predict.

I would guess you would water down the qualities of each parent, so their young won't race or spin/dive like their parents. And you won't be able to sell the young

Good post, well spotted re the tail feathers. I have kelebeks myself, they are neat little birds. Got 4 in the nest right now and two this years young that I hand reared. Can't get the hand reared ones to fly. They won't leave me alone! Lee

Same as Seaforth. I have three of them and use plastic grills on top of paper. Room is tight at my place so they are just the ticket. They comfortably hold 10 birds, more at a push, just wish they did other colours than green! Lee

Reading some of the comments that the supporters post I cannot believe how biased some of these people's views are!!! They are totally blinkered to what's going on and just spouting the same constant nonsense!
