Word on west durham web site from our convoyer was that it took about 20 minuets for them to clear. Ours were at Peterborough and liberated at 10.45. well done all who got them on a tough day.

Lovely Blue Pied hen with ETS ring on dropped in yesterday. SU 12 AV 4588 Would be grateful if anyone could give me a area ware this bird is from as my brother in law is working up there next week and will liberate as close as possible to its home. Sent two up with him last week from the Kirkaldy area and these were liberated on Tuesday. Thanks Michael

Gary i have 7 sheets filled for the paper version of the petition so will email them to you later. (when my daughter comes from school to help ) Im a bit thick with these things.

Some strange comments from the know it all idiots on there. I have tried to leave a comment asking for a answer from the raptor lovers to come up with a solution to the problem for pigeon fanciers but i am not holding my breath. Well Done Gary keep up the good work mate.

I think the only way forward is to educate the public and the only way this is possible is a campaign of advertisments in the national press . I am no expert but i am sure it would cost a good bit but if we had sales and fund raising perhaps we would have a chance. We have got to get too the heart strings of the public and ask them to sign the petition . The way to get too them is perhaps with the stories of bravery during both wars of the racing pigeons.The winners of the dickins medals for example. I have printed of a few coppies of the petition and hope to get as many signatures as possible but it may take time.
