  1. Not sure why there doesn't seem to be any over here anymore?
  2. That's my search ended, I'm not on the 'book'.
  3. I have mate, nothing in the UK? Plenty in the States.
  4. Does anyone keep these anymore? I can't see any for sale anywhere in the UK. Since they originate in Scotland I thought this would be the best country to buy them.
  5. Thanks everyone, the amount of rubble I've inherited it'll take a few years to clear it as I'm just going to shift a couple of gorilla buckets each time I go. It's a fairly big allotment so the rubble won't stop me building a loft. I'm in Blyth Northumberland mate.
  6. It's been a lot of years in the making but it's starting to take shape. Picked up the keys to my allotment yesterday, need to sort it as it's been a dumping ground for many years by the looks of it. But it's a place I can sort out and get my first loft up and running.
  7. Nice birds dublin boy. Keep them coming fellas.
  8. Very good looking birds ovy, sorry for my ignorance but what type of pouter are they? Do you breed from them?
  9. Just googled the gaditano, to the untrained I very similar to the horseman, both look really impressive, I'm surprised both fly though. Nice birds Leroy, being a geordie I like the black and white theme.
  10. What fancy breeds do you have scotty? Plus where are the pics lads, there's breeds here I've never heard of. Did anyone see the first episode of the new mike tyson series, it's on demand on sky at the minute, there was a quick shot of his pigeon set up, it looked pretty good.
  11. Hi, are there any fancy breeds that people breed that can be flown? Also what kind of set ups do people have that breed show quality birds, if you could post pics that would be great. Thanks.
  12. Nice pic, I particularly like the brown/whites.
  13. Thats what I've got in mind, I'll be using ply for the walls and was planning a dividing wire mesh partition. What do you use for your flying birds? I was thinking about starting with a small kit of 6 YB's (half and half sex wise), flying from 1 section. Then the following year splitting the birds up hens in 1 side etc, then pairing up at the end of the season to bring in some new YB's. What would you suggest/how does that sound, I'm wanting to keep it small and fun but hopefully supply my own YB's without it getting out of hand. What months do you fly your kits and when do you breed?
  14. Thanks for the great offers lads, I will take one of you up if its an open offer, just need to sort out which place I'll be going closet to and when. And the first pic kirky is a deluxe version of what I had in mind, I have done the framework for a standard double kit box but I do like the aviary on the side. In your YB kits do you have mixed sexes or fly the cocks and hens seperately?
