lordcornwallis
got three pigeons at blackpool seemed no issue as I have had a good few over the years. two weeks ago a man came to see my pigeons he keeps pigeons on two sites , all types and breeds gets them everywhere . few days after his visit a yearling hen went bad ,got baytril from the vet and its ok now , yesterday a two year old cock died been ill as the hen was , I now have another two going the same way. when I phoned this guy he said his birds had been ill same symtoms as mine before I told him . I have had Baytril in the water since Wednesday , do you think he walked it in ?

Guest mambo
in all honesty no , i cean my loft every day and wash my utensils . i have birds of a good age from four to seven and never treated i dont race only have 20 tipps and tumblers. You will need to take out the sick looking birds, and get them all jagged and kept on baytril for 8 weeks with no breaks. And don't allow any one into your shed
Wiley
Do yourself a favour get them tested with a culture test, find the right treatment for the pigeons

Wiley
What vet have you used? If a culture has been made it takes 3-5 days to get results, it is not like a simple cocci canker worms test that you’ll receive in less then 24hrs
peter pandy
BAYTRIL == I am terribly sort to say,, You have killed the entire immune system in your birds and are only reaping what you have sown.
