Santa's little helper been doon a chimney.

 

Has it been out and had soot available? Has it been treated with charcoal? Has it been picking dirt? All could account for the black. Slime in throat, I'm sure you know an answer for that.

 

An afterthought, eating slugs. :) Afraid more questions than answers. :)

Birds not getting out Andy,hasn't had them long,not had any treatment ?

I gave him some lico spectin. See what it is like in a couple of days.

No liquid on crop Tony so I passed on that ?

Yep Andy a strange one mate.

Apparently these birds don't fly that much,they tumble round the garden,probably been on the Grouse ?

I have a 20 yr old hen, and since las yr I noticed her whole mouth , tongue , is Black ?, thought

It strange when first noticed it , but it doesn't,t seem bother her, it not a slime ,

I just put it down to old age , she doesn't go out loft much , but if it had been slime

You hav to watch drinkers ( other birds) I not a clue cause it , but doesn't bother her so

Doesn't bother me , Just old timer seeing out end of her days , hope u find out Atb

Just had a mate at the door looking for help,he's bought some parlour tumblers in and one of them has a black/dark coloured slime in its throat.

Any clues has to what it could be ?

if it is green coloured then the pigeon has some sort of digestion problem had seen this type of thing must be over 40 odd year ago and for the help of me i just cant remember what it was called and what to do for it ;)
