Quite a few loft changes this winter again ,especially the young bird loft with a new roof going on to give it better ventilation , as we want to have them all on the darkness next year .

Continuously busy with house alterations (on hold), garden alterations (on hold), garden hut rebuilds (current) and loft to finish off (next in line), so will be busy for quite a time yet. :)

New widowhood and stock lofts going up in next week or two, current 20 foot loft will be for ybs only next season, and a 2nd sprint mid distance family will be here as soon as lofts up. I just hope to get time off from herding my sheep.....hard life being a sheep shagger :drinking-coffee-200:

Well I have separated the cocks and hens so my winter plan is to sort the nest boxes out to be extra ones put in and fix up the main breeding loft and fix the young bird loft roof as it leaks.

Would like to finish what I started in April 2017 :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang:

Getting there but very slow when you have to learn how to do things you have never done before :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle:

The list is getting shorter so might be ready for 2018 :drinking-coffee-200: :drinking-coffee-200:

Big changes already started here , Andy.
All birds going, take off sputniks and replace with full length aviary verandahs. One loft already done. Get the lofts well cleaned out, dispose of nest boxes and perches. Hopefully stock up with selection of canaries and other cage birds. Take a bit of pleasure out of just listening to the canaries singing their hearts out. Too much hassle and lack of enjoyment for me these days with pigeons.
