Google it over 25million birds are netted each year with Italy being the worse offenders...I think they net a lot of migrating small birds

Although I don't think that is what happened to the national doos

i know they net songbirds in the thousands for the table, and i read somewhere that shooters were moved on before a lib in france cause they were waiting on the doos being libbed, but how could they possibly net doos on the wing unless they use drones with a helluva big net ha ha ha :emoticon-0136-giggle:

It goes on in China i think. Guys net them then hold them to ransom. Dont think they get them in large numbers but they do get them.

In the main they are enticed into a loft (with the number of strays around the loft I have been getting I could do with the art). On the flip side obviously no old guys who can't afford to get the birds back in 🇹🇼 Taiwan . Typically though it is considered upmanship to get a neighbours pigeon in. Mythology and facts blur when speaking about far away racing. There is serious money being played for and their racing is interesting. They race for money and there are numerous fanciers when these factors are present typically there is an advancement being made in the sport.

We should return to looking at reviewing what we can control , organisation , ensure comfort of transport , routes etc.

There are 70,000 pigeons to be liberated in Gellik , Belgium this weekend from Poland, Hungary, Slovenia they must be doing something good ! (Got rid of their old crates for a kick off I guess)
