geordie1234 Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 I thought it was to do with the dover ferries were on strike or something? Thats why Lanarkshire used the other port?
Bobby4 Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 Thats what I thought was the problem not weather
Valiant Fifer Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 Not trying to wind anyone up but when would be a good time for Lanarkshire to have their own channel race. Just curious as to what fanciers will say on here with their thoughts.
Johnbeattoch Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 You will see at the meeting that the MAJORITY will want to go with the national. MAJORITY rules
ALF Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 We will be at a few of the national races this year but I will vote for the fed not to convoy with the national JMO
Jim hannah Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 I thought it was to do with the dover ferries were on strike or something? Thats why Lanarkshire used the other port?Yes George, the ferry's was part of the problem but just as well the Nat. were advised by Stefaan Van Moerbeke to cross because of the heat on the north of France & Belgium, the Nat.then had the inland race.
geordie1234 Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 We will be at a few of the national races this year but I will vote for the fed not to convoy with the national JMOIs that a choice though? I thought it was programme by programme
Jim hannah Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Is that a choice though? I thought it was programme by programmeAs I see it there is two programmes up for debate and its a straight vote one against the other and the majority vote wins.as regards the new section proposals better put your tin hats on lads. Edited January 31, 2017 by Jim hannah
ALF Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 Is that a choice though? I thought it was programme by programme i'll go with the committee proposal as it lets us get all our yearlings to 340mls again with the fed if it goes through
geordie1234 Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 I think going alone to the the two furthest inland race and then to ypres with the national is a good fair compromise tbh wisny long ago it was all 3 with the national..
geordie1234 Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 Sorry checked it out Races can be voted individually if the body of the hall would like too under rule 30a
Jim hannah Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Sorry checked it out Races can be voted individually if the body of the hall would like too under rule 30aGeo.That would be another vote then, it would be another majority vote, and if not carried then its a vote between the two proposals, end off. The last thing we want is the meeting to develop into a rabble. Edited January 31, 2017 by Jim hannah
