peter pandy
I have started malting Barley at 10% in the feed and dont see a problem at this time of year as long as you dont over do it.
Kyleakin Lofts
I always have some barley in my feed. The amount varies throughout the year. After the moult they could go up to around 50%, currently around 10 - 15%.

Rainman
I was once told by a very good fancier that 10 to 15% barley in the mix during the moult is good for the moult as it contains sulpher but the closer to harvesting the better as the sulpher count drops after 3 to 4 weeks from harvesting

I use linseed and hemp along with a moulting mix . Barley is the last thing eaten and I get a bit peeved at flinging it oot lol
