I would like to thank all those that bought gold rings, entered breeder/buyer birds, bought breeder/buyer birds and to the people that entered both races.its because of you that we can have such a high prize fund. Once again congratulations to all the prize winners , it was a really good race with prizes split right across the radius to flyers in the east and the west and we all really enjoyed it and hope you all did too. I'll be pleased if I get the averages as its my first season back after an 8 year break and I also had a third place at Stafford (1st y.bird race) so I've not had a bad season apart from the losses. On behalf of Todmorden HS a massive thank you to our 10 generous sponsors, each of them donated a £50 cash prize which was allocated to the competitors in the form of one free £50 Nom per loft divided equally between east and west sections, the free Nom pigeon could be either a gold ring or a BB. The sponsors areMr Norman Fairbank ( our BB auctioneer). Mr&Mrs Hiam. Leach Brothers. A2B couriers. Vaun Barker. Kevin Thorp. Walkers Transport. D Cullinane. T K Roofing. Calder Valley Agricultural supply's (Calvag). The race was a massive success and total monies to be paid out is a wopping £10,996.85 spread across 30 different lofts!!All monies will be paid out at the Todmorden HS presentation to be held on the 8th of October at Todmorden WMC, A free buffet and entertainment will be laid on please try to attend to collect your prizes and to bring your families and have a drink to celebrate the season.
