gulkie
I beleive that most strains will fly out to350 - 400 miles if properly prepared ,but That all changes over 500 hundred you Have to have the right blood , and know How to get them ready for the job . peter pandy
Around 1870 a poor man named Potti from Waregem [belgium] bought a pair of pigeons whose descendants gave incomparably good results. The "Potti" breed formed the basis of many top fancers such as Desmet, Blondeel, Van De Velde, Coppens, Stichelbaut and Petrus De Waele. Between 1920 and 1940 these were known as very successful breeders whose pigeons are the ancestors of breeds which are well known to-day... I believe it would be fair to say that all the strains originated from "Potti".
