Years ago I knew a guy that gave his birds it and they ended up they could hardly fly up onto the perches, deffo over dosed them lol. Was told at that time by a bodybuilder friend that it was used as more of a recovery aid after hard training. Not sure m8, only know he was usually very careful about dosages as he was a body builder himself he knew the damage that it could do.But, it still went t...up as some of the pigeons tied up with it.
