R & P Midgley 1st 4 places 81 miles 534 yards velocity 1551, 1550, 1520.3 1520.1

Pete and Paul flying under their late father Reg's name ,first Bird was via Mrs & Mr Beswick of Filey , second third and fourth All via birds of Marsay Taylor and Robinson of Great Ayton birds from own winning family . Their first bird was one of these but problems with high wins meant it came in second .Most members have 1's missing at result time . A great race to start the season ,well done Team East Coast.

Taking the first 5 this week Pete & Paul Midgley flying under their late fathers name , 1st a yearling Slatey cock 2nd 2 year old Chequer cock this cock should of had 2 firsts beaten on trap both weeks,3rd 2 year old blue cock 4th a yearling blue cock , 1st 3rd and 4th all Marsay and Taylor and Robinson of Great Ayton from own winning family 2nd was via Mrs & Mrs Beswick of Filey , So 2 races and 2 on the trot for this partnership well done . Most members having good returns with one or two missing at clock reading .

Wayne taking first with a Paul Stobbs Soontjen crossed R & P Midgley only having 4 races as a young bird , nest mate has scored for club mate Walter Kirk, in second spot Mally Warwick with a Harry Smith of Bridlington bird he bought as a young bird in the fed sale last year .Third and fourth spot going to Pete and Paul Midgley flying under their late fathers Reg Midgleys partnership name, their first getting beaten on the trap which was via a Marsay Taylor and Robinson of Great Ayton from their own winning family , Second was via Mrs and Mrs Beswick of Filey . Most members having 1's adrift at result time , well done East Coast Federation Team

He used to sell them and had them when he started racing with us I don't think he has any left ;)

2 minutes behind can live with that only just put them on the system so am sure will improve from now on , the further they go the better they become ;) The down has only just started to fall and their no longer like house bricks , so form wont be far away now ;)

Taking the first 3 this week Pete & Paul Midgley flying under their late fathers name. Flying on widowhood , First a 2 year old Blue cock this having previous cards been a direct Marsay Taylor and Robinson of Great Ayton. Joint second Pete has to catch these from another section and put them both over the pad manually hence both same time the both Marsay Taylor and Robinson of Great Ayton bred by themselves from their winning family both yearling Blue Cocks , the first has carded previous and the 2nd the frill cock which had carded , as young bird. 4th Martin Wood no details at reading . Well done all , another good race from the East Coast Federation team , most members full returns with a few with 1's and 2's missing at clock reading :)

In Top spot Pete and Paul with a Mr and Mrs Beswick Blue yearling on widowhood , in second Mally Warwick with a yearling Roundabout Chequer hen out of a Steve Sellers of Brid birds. Third spot Mr & Mrs Lawton 5 year old blue widowhood cock , this has previous won 8 x 1st and plenty of other cards from his own winning family. Fourth Bob Tyson 2 year old Roundabout blue hen via Boyle Brothers of South Shields previous card winner. Fifth spot Mark Kettlestring with a yearling roundabout cock bred from his good Channel birds that go back to Steve's Sellars of Bridlington crossed with a grizzle hen via Treble D which was via Andy Miller down from his good fed cock .

Taking the first three this week Pete & Paul Midgley flying under their late fathers name. Flying on widowhood , First a yearling old Chequer White Flight cock , second and third two year old Chequer cock the third having won two seconds which should have had two firsts but beaten on the trap , making this three wins on the trot,all Marsay Taylor and Robinson of Great Ayton From their own winning family the second one been direct. . Fourth Mr & Mrs Lawton with a blue 2 year old Widowhood cock won a couple of races plus many minor cards from his own winning family . Well done all , with the crueling wind and the real first test of the season many reported many adrift at clock reading , been up later in the day didn't help them much either most reporting birds coming back out of the north .

Pete and Paul flying under their late father Reg's name. All via birds of Marsay Taylor and Robinson of Great Ayton 2nd one been direct from own winning family .All previous won or carded all yearling blues apart from the 2nd one which is a 2 year old all flown on widowhood , Pete catches some in another section hence the joint 3rd . These birds all go back to National 1 hen the father is 13 years old and still fertile .Most members have 1's and 2's missing at result time . A great race well done Team East Coast.
