just started training 9 broken pigeons that I moved from Glasgow to my new loft location in South Lanarhshire and decided to give the broken old birds along with 26 yearlings a trainer at 18 miles, birds started arriving after 40 minutes after being liberated at 1400 and at 1800 1 yearling to come and six broken birds missing oh the joys of moving house lol

Interesting subject. Something that will be on the cards for me in the next 5-6 years so curious as to how you get on.

How long ago did you move? How long have they been broken as in flying around your new loft etc?

Wish you the best of luck with it and hope you see them all later today once they have realized they have a new home! :D

Still missing 5 broken birds that range from 3 to 6 years old they have been broken since October last year and I moved the loft with me and took a drive up to Gordon Geddes in Muirhead who lives opposite my old place and 2 of the birds having a fly around so fingers crossed they decide to head down to their new patch

You would think so joe so will wait and see tomorrow as there is nothing for them at the old place now but love of home is a funny old thing

We are training a 7 yr old cock broke from the old place 1st toss he was the only 1 missing came home 3 hours after the rest 2nd toss an hour late but the last 4 tosses he has been in the loft when we have got back from training so hope yet for them ;)

Not a feather so far this morning despite the weather being reasonable so the wait continues but better to lose them now rather than the disappointment of not returning on race day

I would guess more chance of getting them when the weather turns nasty.
