Derby Arona Internacional One Loft Race Tenerife

its that time of year again, when the Derby Arona Internacional One Loft Race in Tenerife kicks starts its training campaign on 3rd December!

 

I'm sure fanciers will enjoy my regular updates on the training/racing series, and follow the highs n lows of this extreme one loft race which for 2015 has a great entry, more info will follow soon...

I originally sent 12... but from the fanciers list there are 10 still there, 2 awol... most are bred from 'DADDY BRO' who was the sire of 'RED BRO', and my blue hen 'DIAZEPAN', so on paper they look good... let see if they have the heart, guts and brain to contend in what will no doubt be a test of endurance for these youngsters, competing against the absolute best in the world!

Some nice looking birds there Wee Daz Blue Daz and Powerade seem to stand out for me, I remember following Diazepan looking through the results for it, good luck with them

TRAINING 01 was a success yesterday, plenty pigeons in the air after the short 5km dash!!

good weather still for it not much cloud and light wind as usual

how did it go today wullie

 

seem some real cracking doos on the beach today

the so called strags here with no rings must have some of the best blood in the world running through them they are outstanding

looking doos would enhance any stock loft

Lib took place at 11.55am, bit of a strange one today with the batches well broke up and birds still homing in the evening.... 2122 entries are home, and glad to say my 10 are amongst them, 2 late ones though!

look like a great toss today, about 2000 birds landed about the same time on landing board, well done willie , your first one was 25th ,

great race today, leaders clocked in 13 minutes from 10km... first 100 pigeons recorded in 15 seconds, 2000 pigeons timed within 15 minutes, wow!!!
