WHEN I FLEW IN THE OLD COXSLODE CLUB nEWCASTLE THERE WAS 55PLUS MEMBERS AND THAT WAS NOT THE BIGGEST CLUB IN THE FED   THATS WHEN THERE WAS ONLY ONE FED IN NEWCASTLE

WHEN I FLEW IN THE OLD COXSLODE CLUB nEWCASTLE THERE WAS 55 PLUS LOFTS AND THAT WAS NOT THE BIGGEST CLUB IN THE FED   THATS WHEN THERE WAS ONLY ONE FED IN NEWCASTLE    AND ALL THE LOFTS I THINK APART FOR 2  FLEW ON THE SAME ELLOTMENT

its a big club but not the best in the fed

its a sign of the times Tam  a lot of the big clubs either have split or lost members  due to other interests  if you where to go back to the days of the pits steel works  ship yards   clubs and feds in those areas  where huge   but sadly those days have gone  

tam heres one for you and bigda  go look at your clubs books from the late fifttys to the early 70s  and you guys will be surprised how big your clubs where lofts wise

Older members tell me my club (Laurieston & District, North West Fed) was a similar size too in those days. Can't say for certain size now maybes 28 lofts, 34 members?
