Last night we has a meeting and we discussed pigeons and a few members have had a few cocks go dolly winged. Has anyone else had this? What do you think causes this? Lots of things was mentioned but what are your views?

Is this dolly wing different from a drooped wing the wing lock that is described I've only ever seen on birds that have flown on a long/ hard race do I have this wrong

From what I've seen Frank the wing doesn't noticeably droop (only happens on one wing), the best way to describe it is the wing joint goes stiff, they can extend the wing but cant beat it strong enough to make flight.

Remember watchin something with henk de weerd and he said if when the doo is standing the tips of the end flights are above the tail but wing is hanging its a hurt wing ! but if flights tips are below tail it is more and likely Paratyphoid.
