Well 2 youngsters & 1 older bird back.. the one missing is one of the originals..

 

Last bird I lost was his mate ironically.. still time in good conditions with a bit of luck

how you getting on any progress was intersting to read as i have had a similiar problem and found the barley sorted them out,l found feeding them a small amount of barley before leting them out 1/3rd of an ounce each 1hour before letting them out helped them fly and when i got them in a full feed either till they left barley or half went to the drinker ,i mixed 50 percent barley in with my normal mix versa laga 4 seasons.They stay in the loft the rest of the day.

I have kept to one meal per day and added higher ratio of barley.. they are trapping quicker and alot more eager when being fed

 

Their flying has improved too, longer times etc, but I have noticed some days depending on the weather, they are waiting to get back in the loft asap for food.

 

I might switch to 2 smaller meals, just dont want to lose any ground iv made

 

The small meal before they are let out is a good tip.. more energy to stay out

l suppose there crops will be used to more grain so when they have less grain in it will feel different keeep up with it you will get there mine was the same two months ago got doing about 50 minutes now flying fast and ranging well.
