Get a v shaped fishing net (landing net)with an elastic front I have been using it for just over a year Got the idea from a documentary on Geoff Capes he uses one to catch his budgies :emoticon-0136-giggle: Try this link http://stores.ebay.co.uk/ANGLERS-CORNER/Accessories-/_i.html?_nkw=Landing+net&submit=Search&_fsub=8&_sid=133798587
pigeonchested
I watched a video once about a dutch fancier who always fed his y/bs in the baskets with the front flap down. When he wanted to basket them for training or racing he sprinkled some seed in the baskets and closed the flaps. He basketed 60-70 y/bs in about a minute. blue pied
make blinds to put over where the light and vents... it will be semi darkness and the pigeons will be very still!
walterboswell59
cut a hole in the loft the width of a basket so you can sit the basket against it and walk the birds into it or a plat form to bring basket level with sputnic
Fly_caster
cut a hole in the loft the width of a basket so you can sit the basket against it and walk the birds into it or a plat form to bring basket level with sputnic That is the one ! When all the birds are loaded, he can then replace the ones he doesn't want back into their section. This way, the birds get used to the routine of being hampered and will eventually settle down.
