very noble blue cock but it dont feed the weans remember i was ridiculed by plenty on here when i ex plained to the fancy how and why this was happening and how to stop it all together so i will ask you what would you do in my position i am making no money theres no jobs out there for a guy thats sixty this year i have the cure that will improve every fancier in britains returns garenteed and it only costs pennies its antifungal anticeptic antibacteriel and antiviral and a well known pigeon products companny is very interested and in fact some allready sell it but use it in a different manner and they sell it at four times the cost just now if i tell them what it can do and how to use it the cost will go through the roof and they will claim the credit and pocket the cash so ill ask the guys on here what would you do in my position i have been honest with you you be honest with me i dont want to rip anyone off as i said it costs pennies im open to suggestions or advice

it is a brave statement when you say you will guarantee every fancier in Britain's returns and if you say it is a cure does that also mean every fancier in Britain is racing sick birds, also you say it is anti viral,I was under the impression that that there was no cure for viruses, but I wish you luck with your development and hope you can develop something to benefit fanciers birds and also if it is a success then I hope you do get some financial benefit from it Walter,I also note you have two conflicting posts on threads,on one you say you have not lost any birds racing or training and on another you say you have only dropped one in every race so far ?,again best of luck in the future.

Good idea, perhaps give Bilco a phone, im sure he will keep you right of proceedure. But to boost your sales Walter, give the members proof that they will be all flocking to buy your product, i.e. a copy of ets assignment list at start of season with a copy of all pigeons in loft at present, either through a print of from training or through a dummy race at club. ATB

Dont forget the 10% for the Lanarkshire transporter fund. B) ;)

cheers
Gareth

agree with you there Gareth it would have to be a proven cure that was tested by several fanciers all over different parts of the country racing under all circumstances but personally my opinion is that there will never be a cure in a bottle or a packet that will prevent losses because there are 1000's of pretty healthy birds that do not return home, just my opinion though

Your secretary Peter is a great guy and one of the most helpful people I know. Im sure at the moment that he is only working one or two days a week, if you wish I could ask him for you?

Agree Walter, its not cheap to enter fed and national for Newbury especially if your in a position like yourself to send a hell of a big team Win Burnbank with your accumulator this week and your on to a big lift, is 350.00 in it ??

All the best
Gareth

Hit it off in Newbury and you wont have to bother about working again (end of season and sitting with a loft full of the 98% )

Good luck but there is more to racing pigeons, stock , loft design, breeding, feeding, and more importantly how to maintain the Ultimate health and Condition to win regular and the only place to look at is the results whether it be club fed or National they tell you the Fancier and Loft of pigeons that are in perfect health not simply good returns.Never forget the (98% shi-te rule ) our lofts are full of them. I hope it helps and assists what we all strive as pigeon fanciers; To have " Success " Good luck to all in the oncoming weeks.

i did not mention any names stuart but a few had plenty to say which i can handle its the guys that are lossing birds week in week out and say nothing then come on hear and tell me they dont think im right but there still lossing them ten a penny and blame race controllers weather percy everything but sickness and i have proved without any dout thats what is causeing 99 percent of the losses in pigeon raceing and its hard to tell they have it i have told three guys on hear that i trust and asked me for help what im giving them and how to use it and im hoping in 10 to 14 days these guys will come on here and say there returns from training and racing have improved greatly with what i told them but the problem im finding is that when a guys birds are sick they dont want anyone else to know about it which is stupid everything gets sick sometime your self your kids your dog its nothing to be ashamed of just treat it thats all you would not believe the ammount of top flyers that have phoned or pm me for help in the past few weeks was it just luck i predicted on hear that the heavy losses would start between the 4th and 6th race when did it happen the 5th race yes the wether had a big part to play and so did the un avoidable clashing but they should still get home the next day or day after but many dont and thats because there sick and cant take the hard work to get home and thats fact

I have only returned to the sport after almost 20 years break, but I kept up with news how some fanciers were doing. One of the most disturbing of news where stories of heavy losses by some members and on average they were working out over the season something like 50% o.b. rising to 80% y.b.and yet very little has been done to look into this, many fanciers seem to accept these losses and increase the number of y/birds trying to compensate for these losses.
Recently I have been reading comments from "Walter Boswell" and feel that his views should be explored and tried and advice from the makers of vaccine,I honestly believe that a team should be set up from S.H.U./R.P.R.A./N.E.H.U.....OR ANY OTHER ORGANISATION WISHING TO TAKE PART.they can take this further than any individual. There is more to the causes of poor returns than many fanciers appear willing to accept, after all they are homing pigeons, some may be faster than others but that they should home,I remember when in partnership with my father we had to select what we felt were the best old birds and dispose of others to make room for the next year yearlings no one seems able to do that any more......WHY...?
