BLACK W F Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 as many are flying to ets on 2-3-4 pads in the UNC any member flying to rubbers is allowed to use 2 clocks what is the rule in Scotland after all fair is fair extra pads are just like an extra clock whats members thoughts opinions
shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 1/2/3/4 pads one ets as i remember you can use two clocks as long as you state first or second clock but you cant jump between clocks that was few years ago maybe changed

Guest stb- Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 as many are flying to ets on 2-3-4 pads in the UNC any member flying to rubbers is allowed to use 2 clocks what is the rule in Scotland after all fair is fair extra pads are just like an extra clock whats members thoughts opinions you can set 2 clocks but only use the nominated clock ,i know what your saying alan as i get one bird going to one loft and the next to another so your into one loft then across garden and into the next with the one clock would deffo be better with a t3 in each shed as with ets you dont have to move your ars of the seat and there timed into 4 lofts or more
shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 of course they have you have to catch every bird take rubber off put in thimble and time in, ets just let them trap
BLACK W F Posted February 10, 2013 Author Report Posted February 10, 2013 you can set 2 clocks but only use the nominated clock ,i know what your saying alan as i get one bird going to one loft and the next to another so your into one loft then across garden and into the next with the one clock would deffo be better with a t3 in each shed as with ets you dont have to move your ars of the seat and there timed into 4 lofts or more yer Rab but my understanding in the UNC there is no nominated clock use both surely thats the fairest way JMO
Guest stb- Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 yer Rab but my understanding in the UNC there is no nominated clock use both surely thats the fairest way JMO it would be deffo as the ets has major advantage to manual timming especially if birds entering loft then you need to go in and chase them about to get ring of and thats without comming out and going to another loft to time the next bird
shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 it would be deffo as the ets has major advantage to manual timming especially if birds entering loft then you need to go in and chase them about to get ring of and thats without comming out and going to another loft to time the next bird a bigger thrill though catching removing and timing lol
Guest stb- Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 a bigger thrill though catching removing and timing lolto be honest it deffo is, i dont have ets now back to t3 :emoticon-0140-rofl:
Pompey Mick Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 yer Rab but my understanding in the UNC there is no nominated clock use both surely thats the fairest way JMO You're obviously talking about more than one person clocking otherwise you just take the clock with you or wear the harness for the T3s
walterbmasson Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 Alan wina mater at 600miles its doos yer needing na clocks
shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 to be honest it deffo is, i dont have ets now back to t3 :emoticon-0140-rofl:If i was back in the sport the only way i would have ets is due to work the biggest thrill i got was catching and timing and getting to know and feel how your birds are after a race.
BURNMOUTH PAT Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 whats the best and cheapest ets ?
walterboswell59 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 i have ets and would not have a problem with someone using two clocks as long as both are returned after the race for checking even if only one is used but i fail to see the advantage it would be to a single fanciar when i was using my stb i took the clock to where the bird was not the other way round
shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 obviously ets is faster but is it the same you can time your first four birds to one clock and your next five to your second clock but you dont have to produce it if your second five are rubbish lol
Guest stb- Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 You're obviously talking about more than one person clocking otherwise you just take the clock with you or wear the harness for the T3syes you have to take the clock from loft to loft to time as your only allowed to use one clok here with ets you dont need to move yer ars of the seat , boring :emoticon-0140-rofl:
BLACK W F Posted February 10, 2013 Author Report Posted February 10, 2013 You're obviously talking about more than one person clocking otherwise you just take the clock with you or wear the harness for the T3swhy not have 2 timing surely its no difference to multi pads think some guys just want ever advantage going JMO
walterboswell59 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 whats the best and cheapest ets ?they are all good m8 but you get the same make as your club mates are using or you give your club a problem so best to check with club first thats my advice
BLACK W F Posted February 10, 2013 Author Report Posted February 10, 2013 Alan wina mater at 600miles its doos yer needing na clocks VERY TRUE Walter just sp[eaking in general i have ets and would not have a problem with someone using two clocks as long as both are returned after the race for checking even if only one is used but i fail to see the advantage it would be to a single fanciar when i was using my stb i took the clock to where the bird was not the other way roundit does matter when you got them going into different lofts and why not 2 of you,s timing them in JMO
DJWa Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 why not have 2 timing surely its no difference to multi pads think some guys just want ever advantage going JMO alan correct me if im wrong but in the nationals can you not use 2 clocksfor eg if you go to the clockstation with 1 clock to get birds recorded can someone else not clock in any other birds that arrive into a second clock
shugf2003 Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 VERY TRUE Walter just sp[eaking in general it does matter when you got them going into different lofts and why not 2 of you,s timing them in JMO I remember a come back race and we threw in a load of yearlings and i sat in one section as my dad and his mate threw me rubbers to time in think we timed a few the clocks were that full was so unblievable the sec and clock checker checked it three times lol
blaz Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 ets v,s standard stb clock ets wins hands down. with some fanciers racing ets and some with manual clocks.when it is a close race then the fancier with ets wins.so making for a false result in club fed and national flying.(as it was the ets that made bird win position fact) if races in past where on a level playing field say all with ets or manual clocks.the club fed and national results would be altered fact

DJWa Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 ets v,s standard stb clock ets wins hands down. with some fanciers racing ets and some with manual clocks.when it is a close race then the fancier with ets wins.so making for a false result in club fed and national flying.(as it was the ets that made bird win position fact) if races in past where on a level playing field say all with ets or manual clocks.the club fed and national results would be altered fact sorry gary but your wrong m8it was never even with fanciers useing diff methods of trappingstall trap, sputnick, open door etc etc a stall trap and a t3 clock you can clock in around 3 seconds of a bird going ina sputnick etc etc you took longer because you had to catch the bird first its mostly down to the trapping not the system usedmotavation wins races not systems
gulkie Posted February 10, 2013 Report Posted February 10, 2013 of course they have you have to catch every bird take rubber off put in thimble and time in, ets just let them trapSo if ets has a unfair disadvantage over clocks does that mean thatYoung men/women have an unfair advantage over the old where doWe draw the line
