sapper756
Stock, naturals and widowhood all currently on Versa Laga Breeding plus, eith Hormoform added,as they are feeding youngsters, how ever I will be looking to change the widowhood teams feed, once training starts, when the weather improves. Youngsters being fed on Versa Laga Junior UK, As stated, I have not began training, but hope to start soon once the weather improves. When the racing starts, my widowhoods will be built up through the week with Vers Laga widowhood and depurative. I have not decided what to feed the naturals yet.http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif
andy Burgess
Hi all well racing is soon on us how are you feeding right now and what corn you using and measure you using and what training you doing ?? please ladies and gents lets have them answers i am weeks behind schedule , filling the trough at least twice daily with Versa Laga best all round ,peas in pots for youngsters that are rung , hormoform once a day , and layers pellets in a pot ,refreshed as needed. away shortly for a break , will only have 8 or so days to get them ready for first race ,so will not change too much ,or expect too much early on .hopefully 2 or 3 10 milers should do , and will see if 4,5,or 6 will go to first race . Tony C
As I've just taken the youngsters away I'm In the process of changing the w/hood team feed, switching from a breeding mix to a 50/50 w/h & depurative mix (this'll take around 6 days). No training done as to yet, weather permitting I'll give them 2 or 3 tosses next week then into the first race. Feeding: forget measures! ........... let the barley in their feed be your guide.
