spikejackass Posted May 7, 2011 Report Posted May 7, 2011 This is the result of the fourth race of the season from Rosscarberry in West Cork a distance of about 170 miles.27 members sent 707 pigeons. 1ST Grogan and Kearns 1394.282nd T.McLoughlin 1392.493rd T.McLoughlin 1388.714th Grogan and Kearns 1383.305th Grogan and Kearns 1381.916th T.McLoughlin 1380.807th Mr.M and Mrs Mick Gilligan 1368.598th I.Larney 1346.319th Grogan and Kearns 1344.6810th D.Larkin 1327.75 Another steady race today with the race controllers faced with a difficult decision with regard to the weather. It was decided to bring the convoy back to Rosscarberry and it was the correct choice.Back to the race itself and it was another great day for the partnership of Thomas and Robert Grogan. Is there a better fancier in Dublin at the moment?Well done lads.Thomas McLoughlin also had a very good day taking 3 positions. The young guns are still holding sway in this very strong club at the moment but a mention for good old Mick Gilligan in 7th spot for the oldies.Roll on next week and the first open race of the season.Good luck to all .M.E.
