All bacteria moves under the microscope - good and bad

 

I understand that some bacteria are motile, and others are not.

 

Saw the 'lab' video and took from the title that Salmonella spp was one that could move 'under its own steam'.

 

I also understand that some bacteria have whip tails and wondered if they could be mistaken for trichomonads. Had I not been told otherwise, at first glance I would have taken the lab video to be these canker organisms, given previous descriptions on this forum that they 'whiz about' under the microscope.
