we have a small team of late breads that we are training around the loft unfortunately it one smaller now due to a sparrow hawk attack last week end also ive just watched the perigran at Heysham power station in about the pigeons an hour ago.so the bops are still about.

Will you train over the winter Stevie or just get them going in the spring?

must be in a section by them selves and out everyday had 3 twenty mile tosses so far with the six youngest the rest have had 18 20 to 30 mile tosses and stopped for the year ill take the wee ones any good day we have this week and that will do them for this year kept in there own section they fly for hours at the loft all winter

Got to agree with Walter regarding the latebreds, too many fanciers take a couple and forget them all winter and lose them at the first races the next year and say latebreds are a waste of time.

 

A basket full in their own section and out every day and tossed on good days midweek my mum and dad would take them when going for the messages and at the weekend I would take them to the away games when watching the famous partick thistle,we turned out some crackers over the years with birds scoring at club fed and national,had a wee hen win 4 SNFC OPEN POITIONS,a bit of time and work but very well worth it. :partick-thistle-Crest:
