Distance

Reason I think this .at the weekend both feds in fife had absolutely disasters from berwick upon tweed and coldstream.

Some members only flying 47 mile to 57 mile .

Now I no we cant help bop strikes but the weather was westerly. But I think there was a touch of south which in my opinion because of the distance I dont think the young birds put the brakes on and would fly right over fife .but it's only my own opinion

Used to be a 65 miler 1st week, then a 95 miler next. Repeated. THis was in the days when youngsters flew the whole programme up to nearly 300 miles ... Yes an Elgin or Perth in many seasons.

My view is 'Fine' because it gives happy feel to the fancier and his thoughts of caring and looking after his pigeons. That has to be number one.
