Was out a walk we my pup this morning. And walked past the care home which has a large grassy area in front.Seen feathers flying in the wind . And was surprised to see the hen sparra on top of another sparra hawk plucking it was dead before I got to it .By the time I got back from the walk checked and it was only wings and tail ! Anyone seen this before ?

Seen the bassa tonight. She's a big un !! 😕.

That will be the hen Gos, I've not seen a sparrow hawk here for some while and that's unusual but saying that you have a lot more chance of saving your birds from her than you do the Gos I have here.emoticon-0127-lipssealed.gif

If the food supply becomes harder to catch and in less supply, they will increase their territories to ensure they have enough. This will cause turf wars. You may have witnessed one. :)

We have the chance to make this happen with no training or racing hope they keep killing each other love it
