blue lad Posted July 21, 2019 Report Share Posted July 21, 2019 My next door neighbour has a fishing boat and are currently on standby duty.And half dozen gb birds on board. Only problem is he is approximately 130 miles east of Dundee.He's got a week to go before he returns home. If I get ring numbers I will post them up on site .That's what happens when a perigine goes into race birds along the coast. Wonder how many other are on rigs and boats this evening? Sparrowhawks n a peregrine and the odd crow n hundreds of migrating birds. blue lad Posted July 22, 2019 Author Report Share Posted July 22, 2019 Hi John my neighbour said this morning another 15 came off rigs and landed on boat as the half dozen were flying around.He's not caught any as yet.But feeding them rice and water on top of shelter deck . He's got a week to go.Doesn't think there's enough rice for that amount of birds. As four Philippineos are Going through more than a kg a peace per day. It's tragic.
