Stray Reported In France Anybody retrieved them from there? Rate Topic: -----

I have a pigeon reported with a fancier in France. Wondered of anybody has any advice on a rescue attempt?

Take your Mrs away for a weekend over to Paris then pick it up sorted

Ask if he knows any lorry drivers who go via Dover. Maybe they can lib it somewhere in England for you.

Walkers do pick up from the continent. Depending where it is in France, The Barcelona One Loft / French YB Derby people are often over in the UK. :)

Had a hen reported in Paris that was at Ypre earlier this year ! Emailed the person but never replied !

Had one reported in holland one time, about a year after it was lost.I transfered it to the guy, but a few days after that ,the bird arrived home before the transfer was through, so I got in touch with the SHU and they cancelled it.

The bird was at Reims going for it's Silver award. The gentlemen tells me it came in a month ago covered in something and dragging a wing..

I reason if it was silver award potential, survived being covered in 'something' and had a damaged wing as was still putting up an effort then I would drive to France and get it lol.😀

Edinburgh to Paris return on the bus is £44 - leave 4th Dec return 6th Dec - 24 hours each way
