Seriously thinking of calling it a day. Went into my loft this morning to discover 6 bird's had been killed.That's 11 in 5 weeks.It's bad enough losing 11 racing, but in the SAFETY of their own loft. Absloutly GUTTED.

Sorry to hear this I'm sure its soul destroying to find this happening more than once, have you found out how the culprit has got into the loft or what it is that is killing your birds ??

If you know how its getting in to your loft can you not do something to prevent this.

I found out about 5 week's ago and got that sorted out . I think i have found where it got in last night. Hopefully got that fixed.

was your trap left open for it to get in make sure all bits and bops are closed so nothing can get in if its a cat it will be back mate get a cat trap from someone and take it far away from your loft

I can't HONESTLY understand why any fancier won't invest a few quiddies in an Electric fence. I'd wager those five are / were worth far,far more than a Legal electric! Ps woody, I feel for your loss.

Surely a gap big enough for a cat to get into - Your pigeons could equally get out of. Why don’t you leave some food outside the loft and feed it so it has a nice full tummy of something off your own menu :drinking-coffee-200:
