i,m no vet but a pal of mine treat his young birds last year for canker early age with chevita caps similar symtoms took them to vet he said he had overdosed them he killed about twenty vet said if he had left them it would have went through them not saying its that tho

must agree young hens should lay without any problem happened to me with old hen last year and they get all kinds of min grit etc even give them liquid calcium prior to laying poultry spice during and after moult :-/

i gave young birds 1 race 79 mls in 07 as yearlings sent them all the way week in week out over the channel 420ml won and scored in club and fed they wer,nt on darkness in my opinion better for it
