i give my birds the odd bit of bread or buiscuits just so they get used to it in case they have to rough it for a while at first they looked at me in disgust but now they love it who knows what can happen to our birds on their way home such as hawk attacks or injuries ? kev
my farher would give them burnt toast , it never did the birds harm,,,,,he reckoned the charcoal was good for their innards
Boy oh Boy what sort of bread were you eating etc . Thou you are correct fortunately Charcoal (Burnt wood) is one of the best things you can have in your medicine cabinet etc & it's also cheap. Enjoy.
