hi all,
     during this stressfull time of the year which do you members find is the best feeding method
hopper feeding 24/7   or    a measured feed (if measured approx how much per bird)

Hooper but i remove at night when i remember as food is expensive enough without getting mice in to share it

don;t like hopper feeding myself , too much corn thrown about , plus birds are in better nick if not overfed , tried it once still saw odd mouse in daytime  that was it for me , hand feed once aday untill 3\4 go for adrink

1 oz a day if not flying out , hoppers have there uses they attract mice but everyone to there own  i still like to feed twice a day once you have a routeen no point in upseting the birds to change it

at this time of year   birds out every day ,fed as much as they want,, mixture containing as much veriety as poss,, some will eat less being further on in the moult , some will eat more [and whats more know what to eat] that are in different stages of the moult ,,,,,,,,, no food ever left over
