Hi Guys,

Does anybody know about a strain of black pigeons called something like Achilluisse. I know I have not got the spelling right so if anybody can give me some info that would be great.

Thanks

David

I have a pair now, gifted to me and could not for the life of me find any information on them. I raced the cock this year as a yearling and he did not do too bad. I am hoping he will do better next. Thanks for the info guys.

Yes I think he did.

Bernie Bennet who writes in the BHW had some of his and wrote about them regularly.

Did they originate from Verottes?

I have some Leus pigeons and yes they did come from the verrottes. I bought the originals from Natural in 2005 and bred pure and crossed with my busshearts and distance stuff(southwells). They say they are sprinters out to about 250 miles but my mate scored well with one from 450. I personally prefer the crosses for racing.
