Think you will find that it is the norm during the winter months.
I started it on Sunday and feed at 8am.
Time of day will depend on your work & other commitments. |

if you feed once a day the pigeons metabolism will slow down , it think that its starving then the bird stores energy as fat so in answer to that question i'd say no |

One of the best long distance fanciers in Holland only see to their birds in the evening, they flag them for exercise and then they are fed, what is left over in the troughs does them in the morning. |

Whilst in moult feeding always in front of the pigeons with fresh food put down in front them twice a day, winter months will most times feed once a day and in spring and summer fed between two and five times a day. |

We have only ever fed once a day as such, the only thing they got in a morning was a bit of seed and they win.
