Over recent night i have been getting a number of slugs in my loft,
They are entering throught the white louver vents no bigger than a quarter inch gap. They are gone in the morning.

Any one know how to stop this

Thanks

spray some bleach on the outside of your louvers, or put small gauze over them,

always a good idea to put a fine gauze over the grilles as this will also stop mice.

slug pellets will poison your pigeons if picked up by the birds if you put down a layer of gravel around the lofts the slugs will not cross it

I bought stuff from B&Q that you mix up in a watering can and spray it over the area that is worst affected by the slugs/snails and watch what happens.

When you go out in the morning it'll be like a battle ground, dead slugs and snails everywhere.

I make a point in doing this every few weeks, it certainly keeps them away.

Colin.
