Be carefull what you wish for cause some of the decisions are wacky. Like the channel race libs we've had this year lol

On saying that being convoyer isn't easy cause no matter how well the race goes theres always someone annoyed

Yes Paolo but it shows common sense to hold the birds back which you seem to do quite often when faced with difficult weather - Then again maybe i lack it also for actually still sending my birds knowing the chances of a lib before monday are slim

always thought they should hold the marking if the weather looked bad
but our weather can change so quickly i reckon the birds should be at the liberation point just in case you get a break in the weather
the less time in the baskets the better for the birds but if everybody keeps holding back the birds will lack the experience of being held-over later in life

just my opinion

To be honest I prefer sending them as I believe if your on the race point you can get a shot at the race if you hit a break in the weather. However I think the WDA have made the right decision in this case as we are having flash floods and all sorts up here at the minute with the rainfall being crazy.

Driving home from work and the drains couldn't cope with the sheer volume that was coming down.

On saying that I'm in a hols frame of mind so couldn't give a toss when they have the national really yeeha.

Wouldn't care I have managed to get them just right as well have their dip in form last week. If I get beaten on the national I know I have tried my best.

bart the only trouble doing that is the natural birds are moulting more heavier now 2 days in the baskets could make them drop to bits when they start fighting in the baskets which does go on could be some sorry sights as ive seen come back with there brains picked out also with eyes picked out i know we take the chance but have to save any trouble like this if we can.i dont know what your rules are but ours is if they dont get up 2nd day they have to be brought back.only giving my opinion also.happy days
