Just click on the smiley you want and it appears as a open or closed bracket preceded with :   a colon it wont show as a smile till the post has been posted , good luck  

my yellow ones dont work.

mine dont work clicked and clicked yet no joy.

go over to ur Add Smilies, and at the bottom click on Add More Smiles, see if you can get them, when they come up click on the one you want, I have looked at your profile and all looks ok there,

yes mate , i will tell them to look out for you , you no flat cap wears glasses has a stick to help him get around these kind of things   i could get mines to work
