Can anyone please recommend a basic pigeon keeping book, more interested in the breeding and management needs at the moment rather than racing etc. Have checked out eBay but they all seem to have more focus on the racing side from what I can see.

I think you will find the book 'The Racing Pigeon' by Colin Osman a good basic introduction to keeping pigeons. Its priced around £8, but check out your local library first, they may hold a copy.

  when i joined the R.P.R.A. as an individual member they sent me a book by Guy Barrett for free...i think its quite a good book, basic but all you need to know.  dont know if you are member of club or not, but if not join R.P.R.A. and get it free...
