can still swop lloyd, but yours aint a lot of good without rings. My wife only keeps a small team so most are shown, no room for unrung stock.
We have given most of our direct German rung birds away over the last couple of years to make room for their young to show and use for stock.

We can swap some of my older NPA rung birds i have one pair, a blue bar male to a red bar female, plus they will be unrelated to yours and this year they threw red chequers and cream chequers.

didn't think you could get chequers from bars
thought bars could only breed bars???

I'm getting rid of most of them, bar one pair and if we swap, I will keep the pair I have off you if they are nice colours.

Lloyd

I breed chequers from bars all of the time.  I bred two bars from two chequers and I bred 2 chequers from two bars.

Fact, you cannot breed chequers from barred birds. This is because chequer is dominant to bar so a pigeon with a chequer gene has to show it.
You can get barred birds from chequers but not the other way round.

I have a blue cock paired to a blue ch hen, all but one youngster are blue ch and all hens, the one blue they bred was a cock, but all they mostly breed are hens and blue ch.
