Why do people need to start another post with a similar title to one thats running ?  2 posts same thing , is it the feeling they have missed to oppertunity to be 1st to post and the fullifllment cant be met by posting on the same board?

Press the 'Report to Moderator' button by the post. There shouldn't be any duplicate topics, if we notice them (or they get reported to us) we'll merge them into one.

also,,,why,,is there so many threads hijacked ,,,, so many vindictive posts ,,,, and so many off topic posts ,,,,, dont think "pigeon basics" looks for perfection , but when its done by the same members it often gets boring , i say keep this site as the greatest of all , and let us all be proud   and thankfull for it , and can all,  only but try, and be an asset to the site .........mind you nothing wrong with a good ding dong   as long as its contructive   , but thankfully in the main , we have mostly great members , all different , ,some serious, some funny, some great posters , we have all topics covered ,from the main page ,private messages , through to  the racing pigeon page, show bird page ,health page and lots more, right down to the lost and found page ,,,really a lot to be gratefull for , i for one would like to thank you webmaster , for the time and effort you have put in to this great site as im sure most will agree   ,,,now can i have that tenner you owe me

We're not naming, shaming or whatever.

If there are duplicate topics/posts just press the Report button or let an online Moderator know

can i ask why not richard as joe61 has done nothing but slag of members and rubbish topics on here for too long

i don't it like anymore than you...but we have to abide by the moderators. if we don't like it we can frequent another site...it's our choice. the best run sites will therefore attract the most members...thats why this is the biggest site. if someone oversteps the mark they are blacklisted. i've noticed blacklisted members trying to get back on here (they show up red in the new members column) so its a constant vigil for those that run the site. we as members can't start 'witchhunts'.......i'm sorry. by letting this member get 'under your skin' you are giving what he wants.

well said Richard if you dont like somes attitude or posts report or dont read them

i agree [for whats thats worth!!!] up to a certain point ,but if you are reading a really good thread and someone posts unrelated garbage, yes you can/should ignore it, but sometimes right or wrong you do reply and yes i know you are doing exactly what is planned, but frankly wait until its one of your threads or a comment is directed towards you,as for reporting ,again, yes you should ,but there is a bit of "teacher teacher" in doing that.even if it is a good idea to do it

to learn from your mistakes is easy
to learn from someone else' is harder.[bismarck]

sometimes i start to write a reply , then i delete it all , the reason for it sometimes is i have vented my frustrations , and then thought about it , then questioned it , if you reply to a bad response then you are encouraging them to respond further, if you simply ignore and respond to the previous thread and report the bad response then there response hasn't got an audience and the thread will continue as normal.
