Would be interested to hear the forum members returns from races today, especially with the dodgy weather we are having

we were at magnotsfield 116 miles lib at 8 .30 west wind must have been some south in it . 1 hour 55 mins about 1779 vel. 3 in a minute , 12 out of 17 in 11 minutes . 16 out of 17 in 45 mins. well pleased

sent 27 only 3 missing and well happy 2nd race for me 100% on 1st race hopfuuly the same today .

8 out 9 from kingsdown 107mls let up at 7.45

North West Fed were at Otterburn, liberated 0800 in SW wind. Returns seem to be pretty good, I've 8/8 by 1200, too gappy. Club was won at 9:54, Martin Conlin's first bird is doing 1263, and he takes 2nd and 3rd too..

My club was at Worksop - 89 miles SW Wind - club winner 1903 ypm

I have 1 missing from 32  sent

I sent 28 to huntingdon 24 back,  good race ,

we raced yesterday. because of fog at mkt rasen we went to sleaford . 5/6 best race so far

Up at Thornton at 7:15am .....very gappy ....I'm upto 13 from 17 sent ....butthey have been coming back all day long ....most flyers in club are the same & this only from 64 miles

Sent 14 to taunton 117 miles 1 hour 46 mins 2 missing .

Otterburn with Fife Fed, have 30 out of 35. Lets hope for a few more.

19 from 26 won the race for an hour.untill we saw a  members distance was wrong   was 2nd   vell 1581  99 miles .always  next week

1st&4th club from worksop 111mile 958 yards doing 1680 chester-le-street fed in county durham

ampthill  100 miles   up 7 30    11 back  out of 11

Our club had only 15/101 at clock check at 6pm from Alnwick (145 miles) 10:15 lib
myself only 3/31 Although we won the race we are pig sick! Only ourselves to blame, committed too much to this race with a dodgy forecast and got our fingers burnt

Trust the Flying Undertakers to win from the pigeon graveyard (Alnwick)

12/13 with the North West Otterburn, great race. How did the midland fed get on today as I don't see anybody on this thread.

At Otterburn with the Fife fed, sent 10 and have 9 home, looking for the other one to turn up, or even in the morning, pleased with them as last week was a nightmare for me, when i phoned the wife she saw the club winner coming to our lofts clapping, then went over to the guy at the back of me.

sent 27 all home withing 3hrs from magotsfield in the north staffs 104mls and 3rd club well happy . mostly good returnes with other members

8 out of 8 from ampthill

sent 22 birds got 22 back and won 3rd club only beaten by a total of 40 seconds by a man who sent 40 odd birds and has topped the WDA twice so cracking race for me.

Mind you the weather was very bad in the west of the country my parents went to Lowther near Penrith for the show which was cancelled and it was hoying down all the way up that side and my dad saw batches of birds flying through it.

Haven't lost a bird yet from three races. Won the first race was just say pipped to 3 and 4 club by a few seconds on the second race and chalked this one having a really good first full season. No money to go drinking cause of the deisel cost like but thats life for you.

good returns from selby racing in to the sunderland premier fed had 26 out of 27 with in 45 minutes of the winning bird exellent returns for the rest of the members in oddfellows hs club . well done deano lad looking like topping the fed.

Tommy, are you speaking for yourself? Why is it your club had dropped birdage, the federation ha dropped birdage.  Spoke ti fanciers today, 1 has 10/23 another 1 has 16/26 another 16/30, if that is good racing I don't know what is.  P.S. I see you have only 8 away, why is this are you keeping them for the shows.
