Of course. No different to any other site. Name and shame like the old way. To many good/wise guys on here so they must be finding it difficult.

I know exactly who you are refering to Chris, he has done this same thing on other sites and it has been pointed out to him!
He askes for birds for daughter etc, then when offered birds doesn't want to even pay carriage etc!
He also advertises enough stuff on e-bay as well and it doesn't wash with most people!

I have been taken advantage of on many occasions, having lost count of the number of newcomers that i've given birds to and loaned birds to to get started. Many of the loan birds have never been returned and the people dissapear! I still do it but whenever loan anything its only now going to be something i an afford to lose.

i just like to point out that the products thats on ebay and what  sells are not mine

they are my father in laws products,

i am not trying to scam birds off anyone, i am trying to do the best with the situation i have been dealt.

as people who know me can vouch for.

i dont want to take advantage of anyone, full stop..

the birds for my dughter are genuine and indeed i will be buying a few next year for her.

thanks for the reply's i have had so far for 2009 youngsters, i have archived them in my inbox for referance when i get the money together for them.

people are quick to judge when thet dont know the full facts.

i am not the greatest of writers as i failed english at school, so i may have posted something, that people can take the wrong way.

i am sorry for any false impressions i have made of my self and my daughter.

but if you find that i am not genuine, i cannot alter your impression of us, i regret even asking for help.....

sorry again

jon

i hope he dont mean me lol i am greatful too as i had 4 birds given to me free which are the only ones i have recieved free, but these birds are on loan only as if and when i decide i no longer need them they will be going back to the person i got them from, i have decided to start a small group of fancy pigeons and am looking to get into showing but am willing to pay for them if need be, i have already agreed to give my birds to someone for free as i think if you get them for free you can help someone else out for free.

ive been given and bought birds from this site and ive been given birds from people off the roller site.... i  have now bred birds from the birds i have been given........ so i now see this as enough help for me as far as freebies go........ some people do seem to take the p*ss going round different sites giving sob storys and asking for birds but as soon as money is mentioned they dont want to know or make up excuses.............if you are genuinely struggling fair enough you will get help but dont con people because the people you are conning will not help anybody out in the future........

i was helped when i started back in 2007 the season b4 ...in 06 i mentioned i was thinking of starting back up, a certain top fancier helped me out with 12 terrific birds...which im eternally gratefull.
if someone is getting birds under false pretences then its a poor show...but b4 slating them we must know the entire story behind it,as we all know, else it can paint someone wrongly.

i too was given birds from guys on this site and brought some too,but to me there is no excuse to go around every site on the planet getting birds, apart from been greedy, in the end some one would be let down[the donor i mean]this is the sort of thing that stops the good guys from all sites from helping people out, i am not naming or accusing anyone as every story is different and the background to this one i do not know

also adding to my last post, i have serious beliefs that someone who had bought birds off someones family(in wales) after the fancier had died, is selling them on here at times under a different breed and parentage/pedigree,(ring numbers in pics of parents etc) i cant name him because of limited proof so i shall be looking out in the future of his sales.
he sells on several sites.

i was offered these birds for free 3 cots full. as i was a very close friend, and could have taken advantage of them, but decided the family should have the benefit of these. and i was the one who actually helped in finding these birds new owners....im watching you!!

i have asked for bird's on several sites some i paid for and some were gifted to me and when i 1st started i got some fancy pigeons and then after a while i thought about getting racers so the birds i had gifted to me i rehomed free i had several racers and we suffered a hawk attack i picked myself up got a few more birds and the same thing happened i took the birds to exercise them a distance away with my mate released them and bam from no where a BOP attacked no birds returned to me so then i went back to roller's and yes i asked again for help and this time i recieved some PM's from people telling me this and that and my sob story wouldn't wash now although i have asked for birds i have and am willing to pay it is just that i couldn't afford to go out in 1 hit at the time and spend X amout on birds i am now in a better finacial situation although not a great deal of spare cash but i am saving what i can to purchase some youngbirds in 2009
