Anyone going to Holland in the near future? I have had my Tarbes International entry reported to me and it is being held at a central holding centre:

Central Hok 17
Nieuweweg 27
1786 PH Den Helder
Eerst Bellen
BGG 06-57101122

Can anyone help with collection?

Regards Les

Buy birds from a racing fancier, not from PIGEON DEALERS. Generations of untested birds will leave you with an empty loft and wallet. THINK before you spend on strain names!

I think All regions or even counties should have a stray centre funded by the unions. the could be someway of moving birds from centre to centre until they reach the members nearest centre where they would be required to collect it from and maybe pay a nominal fee of £5 etc towards food etc.
They could be set up with the money from Blackpool etc.
I havn't been to the WHPU's new office but sure i'll call in at some point for a cuppa!

had one in holland myself about 3 years ago and the man to see at the time was Mr Frank Quinlan who collected it and amtracked it to me
At the time it cost around 100 quid which which was the delivery from the back and beyond to Franks contact and he then returned to u.k with it and then amtrack delivered this end.
Might sound a few bob but the bird arrived back in good nick(you would probably add another 30 quid now with all costs going up)
best of luck

the RPRA did have a holding loft but if they've got rid of it i'm sure there is space to hold strays at there one loft location.
